Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night which was on Beta has been officially released with popularity surging due to the praiseworthy art style, animation, and game mechanics. After such a strong start, there is a technical issue where players are experiencing when there Beta save files are corrupted when used on the full released game.
The game usually lets you continue based on your previous saved files, rather when you overwrite your Beta game save file to your new save file, the game does not register and find it is corrupted. On the Steam Community forums, there has been uproar and confirmed everyone is experiencing the same issue.
We think that the devs would fix the problem soon but as we are all hasty, so there’s a solution where you are allowed to save and continue your progress. You will need to save your progress on a new slot each time. This might be troublesome, but for now, until the devs fixed the issue this is the certain possibility and trick to fix the issue.
All the platforms are expected to be facing the same issue currently, though on your first playthrough from your previous Beta save, it’s recommended to create a new slot to save and continue saving each game progress on the new slot. Though it’s pretty troublesome, for right now there’s no other choice.
Losing the game progress is not an option, therefore until the issue has been fixed following the methods mentioned above. On the official Twitter page, the updates and bug fixes would be announced pretty soon, so if you want to know anything, keep a track on its official Twitter page. More guides on Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be out soon as we find anything interesting and new, so keep following and share to others as you guys find any surprising elements.
